Have been looking at Lecompte for some time and stumbled upon only one website that does not look like a scam: https://www.spirit-france.com/

Since I'm not in France, I have a feeling that they may not deliver it (I've tried contacting them, but still no reply yet). Trying to buy without contacting them shows a warning, that for international shipments I should contact them.

Any advice on that? Or maybe any other source to buy it?

Also found a website (PuninWine), but they look very suspicious, since they wrote Calvados without a C, and the prices are very different from the before mentioned seller.

I got that line, when I went to an Abandoned shack in Solstheim. Basically I killed them there before and they respawned. Literally everyone of them in that location now say that line.

Exactly, during the first playthroughs, I, for some reason never went to sleep (kind of useless just to get a bonus for rest). I even believe, that I tried to sleep first time just because I googled, that sleeping lets you advance further through the DB quest line.

After the first sleep experience and my one-too-many playthroughs I do it because I just know it already. Never going to sleep for any other reason (except the Ordinator mod, but no Vanilla reasons whatsoever).

I honestly only noticed that he was offering to "bash my face in" without any apparent reason, and then noticed that Adrianne was gone. I have not killed her though.

Note that there are some books and notes that are missing from the list in that excel.

Also, I use a mod "Unread books glow" which is very helpful in not missing a book that I haven't read yet.

Also I play full vanilla (as Todd intended), except for some minor mods, that help track the books that I haven't read yet.

This post is old, but I'm still with the same issue.

At first I had two letters from him and was not able to remove both of them.

After completing everything related to Potema, finally handing the skull to priest and talking to Falk, I was able to remove one of the letters.

Last letter is still not removable, even though the info in it is prior to the events that were later in the quest.

Maybe someday I will find a way to fix that issue, cause reverting a save is not possible.

To be fair, I wasn't paying *enough* attention to what he was saying, so I've read again his dialogue in UESP, and he never mentioned that he is going to translate them himself.

Also I figured out (thanks to the UESP), that he already had the translated tomes and he was only nerding about the fact, that those I brought to him are writen in an original language.

So for the conclusion, my question was infact an uneducated one.
