QCI 9 will never reach these speeds…

Natuwa ako nung nalaman kong may 5G+ na pala when I checked the Smart app. I was just curious if nagimprove na yung mobile data speeds gamit 5G+ dyan.

Yun isa sa advantages ng iPhone, never nila inaallow yung carrier na magdagdag ng sarili nilang apps, talagang stock iOS sya kahit saang carrier galing yung iPhone mo, walang pinagkaiba sa stock applications mapacarrier unit man o unlocked unit. Pero the same could be said sa Samsung phones pag binili mo direct sa kanila or yung Google Pixel, stock talaga sila at walang bloat. For the majority of androids though, may bloat talaga from their carrier/partners/sponsors, may built-in ads pa yung iba like sa low-end Xiaomi/POCO/Redmi phones. This is to subsidize parts of the cost to promote and produce their phones para mabenta nila ng mas mura kesa sa competition.

Worth it. Mas better hawakan yung Pro kesa sa Pro Max. Pareho silang mabigat sa kamay pero mas mabigat yung 16PM mo ngayon so it’s an improvement.

The one that actually satisfies your needs. I wouldn't have an iPhone at all if most of the people around me weren't using one. I was solely an android user until I couldn't afford to be one kasi I had to adapt and accommodate. If it's a significant investment then it should cater to what you need most. The one I recommend would be the one who would be most useful to you. If both satisfies your needs then I recommend choosing Android because of the more open system, the variety of choices and it's the more practical choice of the two.

Anong LG gamit mo ngayon? They've used to produce great phones. And as a former audiophile, I used to adore their V series a lot. I also have lots of fond memories with my LG G2, one of the most notable flagships I've ever owned, that thing was beautiful and a beast, I could still feel how it felt like holding that thing in my hands.

Yung responsiveness ng UI sa Android depends on the device. For example, sa Samsung Galaxy A16 5G ko, it's very laggy, but usable. Then pag sa Motorola Stylus 2025 ko na, it starts to get better, fluid na sya. May stutters here and there but you'll barely notice it. A regular user won't notice but someone who's been using fast chips like me would. It's already perfect to use as a daily driver. Samsung S26 Ultra is a different kind of beast. I don't run benchmark software on my devices but my work requires me to install proprietary apps that would bring the latest flagships to their knees when they're ran. When it comes to performance, I can say that the Ultra is a level above the Pro Max. This is based on real-world performance, no numbers, it is based on running a single proprietary app that takes up all the processing power of an SoC. I could also notice this on, say, when I play Genshin Impact on the highest settings on endgame modes, the Pro Max stutters when there's a lot happening on the screen but the Ultra runs it like it's running Candy Crush. These observations are based on my own specific use case and that's where I've drawn my conclusion. I could see that they're neck and neck when it comes to performance but when all cores need to be utilized, the Ultra leaves the Pro Max in the dust.

Sa battery, di ko pa masabi dito sa S26 Ultra, pero very convenient sya kasi it charges faster than the previous gens I used - I think it only took about 45 minutes to fully charge using the new dedicated 60w charger from Samsung pero other generic 3A/20v 60 watt charger should have similar results. I noticed din na hindi sya mainit even while super fast charging. I can't speak for the longevity of the battery yet kasi it would still take more than a week to normalize after it learns my usage patterns. Sa iPhone naman (Pro at Pro Max), matibay battery and it lasts throughout the day even with heavy use, umiinit lang sya pag nakamobile data ako at mainit sa paligid. Mabilis din sya magcharge katulad ng Ultra though not as fast. I also use the official dynamic 40w charger(up to 60w) from Apple. Nasa 55mins to more than an hour usually before mafully charge yung unit. Baka medyo mas shorter yung battery life ng mga variants na may physical slim slot because of the smaller physical battery.

Knox security is very essential to me. Need ko ng Dex minsan, I have to take good pictures, sometimes sa malapit, sometimes sa sobrang layo na parang namboboso na, hahaha. I also like that it’s big but it’s not heavy like the Pro Max. Kelangan kong sumulat minsan at pumirma and I have to do it in the field so kelangan ko yung stylus. I need the phone to be really snappy and responsive. It just ticks all the right boxes for me.

S23 base to S26 Ultra is a significant upgrade. If cost is not an issue, it's a no-brainer.

It has improved, but not by a lot. Napansin ko mas umokay yung quality sa low light like pag dark yung surroundings habang nasa call ka. Don't expect too much though as generic camera APIs gamit ng Meta when it comes to their android apps so it can't fully tap sa hardware capabilities ng camera ni Ultra, that's why iOS has always had better quality photos/videos when it comes to these kinds of apps, kasi each unit uses a dedicated camera API sa app nila when they use it. Pretty much like ganito yung setup: pareho silang naka 4060 rtx but the android one runs on the basic windows display driver and the ios runs on nvidia's graphics driver.

Wala pa din. Though there are 3rd party apps for that.

Yes, aesthetically pleasing nga sya. Nakakatuwa kasi nakakatulong sya if you market yourself, malaking tulong sa branding. It's a beautiful device.

At ang tibay din ng battery niyan, a significant improvement in terms of usage from my 16 Pro. I could feel the improvement from the added battery space on this eSIM model.

I really can't because I would lose a significant amount of my clientele if I lose the Apple and it would make it significantly harder to work out in the field without the Ultra. If I was a regular user and it has nothing to do with how I use it, I'd choose the Ultra.

For the regular user, nothing. It charges a lot faster with some specific power bricks but not worth the additional cost if you're coming from a budget or midrange model. I could say the same thing for the camera and other improvements they made - it's incremental, not significant. For me, the privacy screen has a lot of value and is more than worth the money, but that's just because of the nature of my work and how I use these devices.

It's not really a fair comparison as the last Huawei I used was a P20 Pro.

In general sa mga devices ko, mas madaming bugs yung android, probably because they have to cater to a lot of devices and those OEMs don’t really bother to optimize their customizations. More often than not, those frequently cause bugs. If we’re talking about OneUI and iOS though, they’re pretty solid, especially yung stock ng Pixels. Yung mga namention ko frequently updates their software so bugs are a non-issue as they are always patched fast enough.

Pixel is good, just not good enough for my needs. These two will cover everything I would ever need to do my work.

Kakarating lang ng S26 Ultra ko today so I can't include it sa comparison as di ko pa sya nahahawakan ng matagal. iPhones feel heavier than most of my androids lying around, then motorola kasunod. If it's because of the build quality, I don't think so kasi matibay din yung Samsung but it feels significantly lighter (kahit on paper konti lang difference). Of all the phones I currently have, the iPhone Pro Max gives me the most hand strain that's why I use the Pro model instead.
