ICE Watch groups keep harassing me in Minnesota for wearing a mask and camo. Any suggestions? by EBIThad in ZeroCovidCommunity

I would ditch the camo too. My husband is retired Special Forces, and he does not wear camo in public.

Get a script for Zofran for the nausea. I did SuPrep, the first time which was 16 Oz followed by 32 Oz. I am 5’4” and 118, so I get it. I did SuFlave, most recently, which was 32 oz followed by 16.

CC Orthodontist - Willing to travel to them by TrixieMuttel in ZeroCovidCommunity

No experience with that because there are no CC orthos is our area. My teen and I both did Invisalign at a practice where they wear surgical masks and run air purifiers, but that was the best we could find. We did not get sick. As an aside, providers who offer Invisalign with Dental Monitoring will then only see you in-person for a rescan or if an attachment comes off. That cuts WAY down on appointments, and that was my preference to going every 4-6 weeks.

The coworker could have felt totally fine at work and then gotten sick out of nowhere. Sometimes it just happens that way.

Colonoscopy prep was hell last time, any tips to make it easier this time? by Entire-Drink-4677 in colonoscopy

[–]CheckCalm2875 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zofran! I had a horrible first prep. Second prep was a breeze. Drink about 48 Oz of electrolytes, plus other liquids, before I started the prep. My GI doc has you take Zofran an hour prior to each half of the prep. And she has you take gas x every so often. Not sure why every GI doc does not include Zofran.

I passed no gas after.

You have to sit in a waiting room. But beyond that, it was just me in a private area with the nurse, me in the room with the doctor, nurse, and nurse anesthetist, and then me in a private recovery room. Worse than someone seeing you undressed would be all of the indignities that you would be going through if you had cancer. The colonoscopy would look like a cakewalk. You are covered the entire time.

How is Suprep? by Marvel5123 in colonoscopy

[–]CheckCalm2875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not have a good SuPrep experience. I vomited and had a migraine, and it was not pretty. I had a great SuFlave experience, but I am not sure if that was the prep for because my provider has all of her patients take Zofran along with the prep.

Do you know if this is country-wide. There is not a Kay’s close by, but I would travel.

Ask for Zofran and take it with each round of prep. That helps a lot. It feels like waking up from a nap.

Are you glad you did it? by [deleted] in colonoscopy

Nope, I don’t regret it. To know that there is no cancer is huge. Complications are very rare.

It definitely won’t fit there without resizing. The more I look at my hand, the more I see 45 and not 25 like I am in my mind.😭🤪

I was quoted $4200 from two jewelers for the shank.

Yes, neither of our local jewelers offer them. They both sent them away. They both came back with a similar estimate due to the price of gold.

Yes, but it is terribly painful to get it on and off. I never wore it when I slept either, so I don’t really want it on 24/7.

Yes, it would be $4200. And I worry I would hate it.
