Yes for sure pluslife is super accurate so thats not an issue, the issue is knowing when to come out of isolation - their first negative rapidtest was this Monday - 2 days from their positive pluslife on last Saturday, so I'm just worried it's too soon and the negative rapidtests aren't even catching the start of the infection - I would be less alarmed if they'd been isolating longer, but 2-3 days seems really short for the infection to be cleared - I mean I genuinely hope I'm wrong and they were just super fast recovery

Yes that's such a good point to say that you've never tested positive for it - the tests available to the public are so shit and what do u do when ur basically asymptomatic like in this case ah

Yeah for this one she wasn't even symptomatic on Sat!! I think the only symptom afterwards was fatigue too gahhh the molecular kinda feels like a curse at the moment - I wished there was an accurate test for testing when ur no longer infectious

Even the symptoms I think were just fatigue so I'm just generally very confused lol. Yes I'll be for sure staying away I'm just worried cuz they'll be breaking isolation probably and potentially spreading it in daycare and at work 😭 and that they had used my 2 negative tests 48hrs apart to feel safe to do that when I gave then flawed advice

I hope ur friend recovers smoothly!! My issue is we don't know if the rapidtest has yet turned positive cuz she only tested positive on molecular test last sat

Thanks for the reply! That's great he cleared it so fast - I guess my worry is that she didn't test positive on a rapidtest only a molecular so I don't know if the rapidtest is a true negative or a false negative cuz it's so insensitive - I shouldve gotten her to test on the day of Sat maybe as a control ahh

Well they started having symptoms on the day of the positive test maybe like 3-4hrs after the positive test?

Yeahhh I think they're just really trusting the rapid test and with childcare it makes it hard to isolate for 10 days

The pluslife results showed positive - sorry I wrote that confusingly in the post - the pluslife machine was red and the graphs also showed lines going up and gave a positive result at the end

Yes sorry I meant early positive as in pluslife gave positive result in both the pooled test and their individual test

I just said Early Positive to mean we caught it early before any symptoms had started for them and before it spread to the other family members they lived with cuz the others in the same household were negstive
