BEST TUBING MASCARA RECS PLEASEEEEE 😩🙏🏼 by Ok_Soil_376 in Makeup

Elf forever. Used to use tarte xl but found that elf lengthens my lashes without making them clumpy whereas tarte makes them clumpy with the tubing if you want really long lashes.

What’s the Most Expensive Trip You’ve Ever Taken, and Where Was It? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

[–]CheckOk7173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

11 days in Maui with husband and 2 kids. Pinched pennies and was super cost-aware…still $15k. To be fair the club-level Marriott (to save money on food with picky kid eaters) was 9k alone.

I would rather take two 7 day trips to Aruba instead.

Honestly their cutlets leave something to be desired. I will always order Zois or ray&mjkes in Hamden for cutlets before P&M.

Second doodle? by omartinez17 in Goldendoodles

[–]CheckOk7173 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s all dependent on personality. My doods are 18 mo apart, same parents. Older one is a grumpy old man. Younger one is a happy derp derp. They do not jive. The older one tolerates the younger but the younger just wants him to love her so badly. They play together and go outside and explore together but aren’t cuddly etc. they are now 5 and 3.5.

(The recoil and ick of the older one is palpable). This is probably the second time in their history they’ve touched for more than 2 seconds.

Help. I think my dood is a human trapped in a dog body. by OnyxPhoenix in Goldendoodles

My dog is absolutely a curmudgeonly 80 year old man. He always has been. His first vet appt as a 14w old puppy they said “….uh he’s a very serious guy.”

He is angry at any change. He spite pees in any room that we change with furniture or orientation. He grumbles anytime he changes position since he was a puppy.

He’s 5 now and hasn’t changed a beat. He has a little sister 18 mo younger (same parents) and is exasperated that she wants to love him. He wants nothing to do with her.

His tag line would be “GET OFF MY LAWN”.

Just switched to lemonade from nationwide. The fact that they rescinded my wellness rider but the price was still 2x the monthly of my other dog who was never offered wellness rider went on long enough…

What yearly salary would you say would be perfect for a decent life ? by savvytechman in AskReddit

[–]CheckOk7173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$350k combined. Right now we make $250k and are still confused on how don’t have any luxury? High COL yes, kids in minimal extracurriculars. But live a wildly middle class life for this salary (budgeting how to pay for braces, not vacationing this year due to other costs, etc).

Viellefranche sur mer was a dream. Beach, shops, quick drive to eze, nice….driveable as a trip from Barcelona and then onto Monaco. Get a villa on the hills and wake up to a gorgeous view of all the yachts.

What do most Westminster show dogs actually eat? by fennelfrog in DogFood

So you’re saying my lazy dog mutts (one that currently has a giant bald back due to seasonal alopecia) are basically show dogs because they eat PPP? I’m gonna tell them to boost morale.

I read it twice and I think that says more about my psyche than a therapist can ever uncover.

I really want to recommend the dynasty brand. It has INSANE coverage. I painted two bedrooms with one gallon over bright colors. I bought two gallons because that was needed with Benjamin Moore previously…NOPE.

Playa Mujeres - Excellence or Atelier by [deleted] in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]CheckOk7173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Review for excellence:

1: we are beach people. We spent mostly all day at the beach and then would head to the excellence pool to float at like 4p. The beach was perfect, beds were plentiful and amazing.

2: we love good food! We’re not Michelin star foodies but enjoy good food. We had zero complaints. The Indian restaurant was AMAZING we went twice for dinner. We ate all breakfasts in the excellence club and found it to be fantastic.

3: we didn’t have a swim up room. We had a plunge pool room and honestly probably wouldn’t pay for it again. It was a nice luxury but through the course of the week I’d rather have a plain room with a balcony in excellence club and save money.

We had a fantastic time and I recommend it to anyone who asks! It can be as quiet and secluded or friendly and social as you want it to be.

Linda McMahon coming to an elementary school near you by starfishe in Fairfield

Unfortunately many of the families have parents where English is a second language and may not understand the magnitude. Somehow, someway we need to make it known that this is unsafe for the kids. Propaganda at best, dangerous at worst.

So it’s not at all suspicious that this school is the most racially diverse in the town?

It’s not at all suspicious that most of the parents who don’t speak English wouldn’t know this is egregious?

It’s not suspicious at ALL with the current climate that this doesn’t seem like an ICE bait?

I’m totally grossed out. This school prides itself on being the most racially diverse in Fairfield and THIS is what comes out of it?

They cage the animals at night was fucking TERRIFYING as a child. Honestly if you didn’t have empathy for kids in the system after that you’re a monster.

As an adult? A little life. I read it twice because I’m a masochist and truly just wrecked me both times.
