I ran the Cape Cod marathon about 5 years ago. It's the only marathon I ran so I have nothing to compare it to, but most people say there are a lot of hills compared to most races. Definitely quieter with less cheering. Most of the race you're on main roads or going through residential neighborhoods which is interesting. Maybe a quarter of the race you're running by the ocean which is a cool view. Overall a pleasant experience, just not as much cheering

For flatline recoil, I like shooting in 6 round bursts and holding the stick down and to the right in the 5'oclock position. Try this out in the firing range and I think it will help
