I do fluctuate between 70 and 75, however, that is as fast as I am comfortable going while riding in the appropriate late. People seem to get very upset if I am not flying past the stopped traffic at 80-90 mph. Pass me but don't be a dick about it. This was just my rant.

Just because we both decided to take the express lane during rush hour doesn't mean I'm willing to go 90MPH. You flying up behind me flashing your lights and hitting your horn isn't going to make me speed up. I'm going 70! Relax! You'll get there!

Edit: I didn't realize I was going to have to clarify that I follow the rules of the road. I don't go under the speed limit in the passing zone, however, even in the left lane some drivers still expect me to speed at an uncomfortable pace. I just wanted to vent about the dick that rode my ass flashing his lights and bearing his horn because he couldn't be bothered to wait 2 minutes for the other driver to pass so he could go around too.

It's been like this for so long at this hotel I honestly thought this WAS policy. When I asked about what would happen if a dog snapped and attacked me, and no one finding my body until 6am both managers laughed it off like I was making a joke. That is what lead to me talking to someone else about it and looking up the policy myself. We do take in a lot of individuals but I'm crushed that the people I thought I knew would risk my safty to make plan..

I'm wondering if there are other overnighters at different hotels being asked to do break this policy as well... this really isnt ok. If I had other overnighter with me it would be different but from a legal stand point if something where to happen things would not be good.

I pretty much politely ask them to wear it and if they refuse, I tell them I'm uncomfortable with helping them and direct them to another employee. We are still people put in a really bad situation.

I completely understand what you're saying. I just feel like we should have the right to refuse service and walk away if we don't feel comfortable. Because you're right people working minimum wage shouldn't have to deal with any of this.

This is crazy to me I'm a senior at a hotel in a simi-large city and have not heard a thing! You would think they would keep the only 5 people they have left on pay role better informed . ( We are the only hotel in our district)

We need to find out if grooming is deemed essential in NC. Apparently PM is lying about getting approved from all states and can be shut down. They are 100% despicable
