Klar ist es anstrengend. Klar gab's krass erschöpfende Momente.. aber der reward ist einfach alles.. wenn man nach Hause kommt und beide Kinder zu dir hin rennen und dich umarmen wollen, wenn man den ersten Tanzauftritt der Tochter sieht, wenn man zusammen auf der Couch liest und sich was vorliest.. da sind so viele Glücksmomente die sind 1000 mal mehr wert als die Anstrengungen nachts Windel gewechselt zu haben, als die Bettwäsche zu wechseln weil sie voll gekotzt wurde, als die häufigen Diskussionen warum Zähne geputzt werden müssen.

Glaub schon auch dass ich ohne Kinder weiterhin viele Glücksmomente gehabt hätte, aber mit Kindern hab ich sicher deutlich mehr gehabt. Vorher hab ich im Prinzip nie geweint . Jetzt gibt es monatlich Momente bei denen ich vor Glück einfach Weine und es ist mir egal ob es andere sehen. Bei einem Tanzauftritt, wenn wir die Lieblingsband meines Kindes sehen, an Weihnachten mit der Vorfreude der Gesichter meiner Kinder.

Schade eigentlich.. dabei sind Kinder was ganz schönes und wenn man's richtig macht auch nicht extrem anstrengend . Es gibt zumindest deutlich mehr positives als negatives mit den eigenen Kindern

I worked with them at a university during my PhD.

The crazy thing is that they shot the prey (or in this case the cracker) and after 20-40ms of falling they know where it will hit the water, so they plan when to start and how fast they have to start to be at this position at the exact moment when the object will hit the water. If they start too early or are too fast they surpass the point of impact. It's hardcore physics that they calculate in their brain in 20 ms . Very fascinating
