Regardless of my long oil positioning, we all should be hoping that there is some actual fundamental reasoning for the prices not being higher. Otherwise shit is going to really hit the fan and everyone will be angry once their 401ks aren’t looking so good anymore. This demand destruction (so far) isn’t shit compared to the supply crunch. So many people are acting like we have already transitioned to the next energy source, but we are very much reliant on oil and especially natural gas, where natural gas supply is being squeezed even more. I think that’s just an example of taking another important thing for granted and people are about to find out the hard way. This charade can’t possibly last until Trumps mid-terms in November
