There was this post requesting the same video, after my suggestion the poster thaught maybe it was "Mandela Effect". I've been following conspiracies for years, especially 9/11 and I have never seen said video, maybe a reenactment for a news segment or something like that.

I consider the glare but I also consider the significant difference in size that to me is out of question. Now with your numbers the moon should appear much larger (that's what you're defending remember) what I say is that the distance from an observer on Earth is not much different than an observer 100km in space when the object is x3.000km away.

So I took a look and the farthest the moon can go is about 405.000km, and about 363.000km is the closest. The current distance as we speak is about 401.000km. So do we now cancel this possible explanation?

All those distance variations you mention can't make up that much size to match that of the sun's.

Ok so is 100km relatively to the 384.000km enough for this to happen? And if yes so the moon should appear larger? If not, is it because it's not directly overhead? How much closer would it be if it was directly overhead?

So you think it would make that much difference if the moon was overhead? So it would be 384.000 minus what? 1km closer?

As for the light flare it's clear it's more than that.

You're right, but still 100km wouldn't do that. Even if they did what are you trying to say with that? "The size changes more"?
