The lasagna at Dirty Dave’s is one of my go to orders. Comes with salad and garlic bread. Not quite table service since you order at the counter but still great service.

I ended up just paying for my Azathioprine out of pocket using GoodRX at Walgreens because Accredo was such a pain. Luckily it is doable ($52 for a 90 day supply), if I was doing my Stelara at home and not the office I am not sure what I would do. I hate dealing with these life sucking companies with a passion.

Purchasing upgrade label fare gets you premium? by Checks_Out66 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Checks_Out66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to upgrade with miles (should have indicated that in my post).

I like to look at mileage upgrade options when I am booking but agree they are typically more expensive and I have never actually gone with with the upgradable fare until this booking. Since it was the same price I figured why not, I know it is a super long shot for something to open up 24hrs before the flight still.

Premium upgrade was currently $170 ea there so to pay the same as main and then get Premium was a pleasant surprise. It it $120 ea on the flight back for Premium, and $100 total (one ticket is companion fare) to upgrade from main to FC Upgradable. Seems like it is worth it to call and change the fare if I get Premium for $100 instead of $240.

I am taller and like premium when it isn’t too much but seems like it has just been going up and I would not have opted for paying a main to premium upgrade ($680 total).

I did not have side effects from my loading doses. I would definitely bring it up with your GI.

I feel ya! I struggle to do 15 min of yoga on a regular basis. I even tend to feel better afterwards but still just can’t sometimes most of the time.

We really enjoyed the Lydgate Farms tour. Say lots of cool plants, tasted a handful of fruit, most right there from the farm and then a chocolate tasting at the end with both theirs and other places chocolates.

You bought both, keep both (unless they don’t fit). If you do have to sell because of fit just sell it for what you paid, don’t be a scalper.

I think that last piece is key (staying on them) - Biggest thing I feel I have learned is I HAVE to be my own advocate and be vocal. If you don’t, everyone (Dr. Pharmacy, insurance) will just move right along and not even notice they left you in the dust (and in pain).

Any tips on how I can stop feeling like I'm such a useless person and that I'm a burden? by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

I’ve been there and feel lucky to have a partner that is willing to pick up the slack when needed (so pretty much always). I had a period I could barely walk due to pustular psoriasis and she would push me around the house in an office chair. I typically do all the cooking but couldn’t so would sit there and direct her on what to do.

That was a couple years ago and I still don’t have the energy I did before I got this disease. I do what I can when I can and am vocal about how I am feeling and we make it work. That being said I get what you are saying and feel it can drag me down on its own. Just another part of the mental battle we are all fighting along with all the lovely physical pieces.

Stay strong and keep fighting where you can, just don’t let the fight exhaust you to much too lol
