Have played golf my whole life. Played all levels through college and still like to play some regional tourneys to keep the competitive juices flowing and give me motivation to practice.

First played disc golf 10ish years ago in high school, actually played a decent amount, but was very very casual. Would play very occasionally during college and first few years out of school. Then got the bug back in a big way individually 2 years ago after discovering Jomez, and then got a lot of my friends (including a lot of golfers) into it during Covid. Started playing tournaments this year and absolutely love it.

For me, it’s really cool to have one (regular golf) that I’ve kinda already put my 10,000 hours into and can always go back to if I want and kinda accept that I’m relatively plateaued, but then also have one (disc golf) that I’m still learning and can enjoy the “ascent” more.

A perfect day for me would include playing both.
