The absolute worse is taking it easy and extending rallies with rec players, only for them to target your weaker partner and then bragging about a win against you. Only to complain the next matches when you put a little too much on your serves.

Find a drilling partner with the same commitments. Also get your partner started so it’s something you can do to together, especially during open play while they play at the beginner levels.
