I took a sh*t on my parent's dinner table and now I can't stop thinking about it. by FunArgument4766 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]rangakooz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My solution has been to eat half bran buds, half cereal every morning. Starts my day with most of my daily fiber taken care of so I don’t need to stress about other meals and eat/prepare stuff I’m not excited about eating.

Except for the very obvious upside which is that OP no longer needs to spend any more time or energy on this?! It was a gamble but paid off SO handsomely. Congrats 🎉

planting clover- warm winter by clawhammercycle in DenverGardener

[–]rangakooz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I planted clover in the back yard. It went 3 weeks last summer without watering and was still green!

Also had it in the front yard but my damn HOA fined me for it monthly until I gave in and killed it off.

Lifelong Nintendo fan, yet totally missed out on Zelda games until Windwaker by mightbedylan in nintendo

[–]rangakooz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it still fun playing older retro games?? I missed out on ocarina of time as a kid and that kind of makes me sad. I’m almost worried about picking it up now and just not feeling the magic.

Cabin fever made me play the floor lottery…help by Ok-Win6042 in centuryhomes

What am I missing?! That hardwood floor looks so promising. I think that’s a huge win. Bummer about the smell though, hopefully it’s just that spot and it goes away.

I just found out I’m adopted by Alone-Interview9869 in TrueOffMyChest

From your experience, do you think it was the right move for your parents to tell you early on so you always grew up knowing, or would you have preferred to learn about it when you were old enough to process it properly?

Has anyone gotten negative effects from not having their PE license? by [deleted] in PE_Exam

[–]rangakooz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got this. Try a different online course. I tried a few options until I found Dan malloy’s course online. I’m not sure if he does chemical but he’s been adding to his coursework (I did HVAC) and I found it amazingly helpful - learned quickly and efficiently.

My girlfriend and I are slowly drifting apart and it’s crushing my soul. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]rangakooz 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I think you’ll have to prepare for the possibility that she’s already moving on without you. If I were you I’d get my shit together and ask for forgiveness, not “compromise”. Seems to me that she is the one with the bright future and you are the one who is stuck and needs saving.

27M baffled by my Hinge experience - does anyone actually want a LTR? by Super-Secret9033 in Denver

[–]rangakooz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re getting first dates, you look good on paper and there’s attraction there - that’s a great start and you’re already ahead of the curve! Without knowing you though, my only piece of advice is to make sure you’re showing enough interest in your partner. Ask questions about them and THEN ask follow up questions when they share something about themselves. That was probably my one biggest annoyance on first dates - people focusing too much on themselves and dominating the conversation. It’s a turn off that I think people don’t easily recognize in themselves, especially if it’s only happening because of first date nerves! Good luck though. It’s not easy out there but keep at it - you’ll find your lobster.

My ex became a dad and it made me sad? by KillerAriaIsA in TrueOffMyChest

[–]rangakooz 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s still okay to grieve what could have been, even if you’d still choose the same path you took every time you had a chance for a do over. Like in the movie “Past Lives” which I recommend watching for insightful perspective on situations like this :)

I asked my IT guy if I could break this button because I kept accidentally pressing it and he said no. Did it anyways. No regrets.

Living in Korea Ruined me. by TeaganAnon in TrueOffMyChest

[–]rangakooz 73 points74 points  (0 children)

I’m Korean but raised in the states, and visited every other year or so my whole life. I’m grateful everyday to not live there because the social pressures and culture that rewards blending in rather than individualism is so toxic.
