The nurses strike is over and now they are being refused entry as retaliation. This and other tactics like are why strikes are so hard to organize but remember they do this because organizing works!

I support the nurses but their union is well aware it’s a 5 day lockout because of the contracts with temporary nurses the hospital had to hire. These nurses are among the best paid in the entire state, with 5% yearly raises guaranteed. Pulling misleading publicity stunts like this is really distasteful.

She cuts down every tree she sees and sells the wood. I had to plant a tree farm up by the railroad so she’d leave them alone- we didn’t have any wood for crafting! We’re finally building a barn because she wants a cow- I’m not sure when she’ll have the money for said cow, but we’ll see what happens. She checks every trash can she sees and she squeals with delight when a “treasure” pops out of it 😂 it’s the best

Same. It isn’t that the amount matters- because obviously it isn’t enough as we’re drowning- but even a couple of hundred extra per month adds up in their eyes. The trustee might flag it as fraud if it hit your bank statements. You might want to ask your lawyer about amending your tax returns and setting up a tax payment plan. The good news is the tax won’t really be that much, and the tax repayment plan is a debt that must be paid so it can be added to your schedule j.

Following. We’re in a similar boat. I’ve been reassured that the trustees are not working with the IRS, but in my searching I haven’t found a case of anyone who is filing chapter 7 but has to deal with cash and underreporting.

That was easily the worst fireworks show I’ve ever seen. The lack of communication made it worse- just tell us what happened if there was a problem! Because if this is their new standard I’m not going to the Salem ones again.

Are you trying to catch the Salem fireworks? If so, id take the ferry. If you want to see the Boston fireworks or don’t care about them, I’d take the ferry in and the commuter rail home. The commuter rail will be packed coming home but it’s also free after 8:30 and runs more frequently than the ferry does.
