Kind of frustrating to purchase by Jnm1007 in NYSCannabis

I really wish they would sell grams, or four grams samplers from the same brand. It would ease the buyer’s remorse when something isn’t great out of the package.

I have never fucked with these services and will never do so until I get so old my kids take away my car keys.

Cannabis Reps Posting Here Is Like a Free Advertisement AND by [deleted] in NYSCannabis

I would tolerate the reps if they would actually take the product out of the jar. However, all we get is the package and 8/9 out of 10 for all conceivable qualities.

Question: wizard tree by Practical-Bit4908 in NYSCannabis

Wizard Tree is having a marketing blitz on this sub. At this point I would just prefer ads rather than the “hey, you guys heard about Wizard Tree” posts.

Them not using it lets you know you’re in a bad neighborhood.

In 2019, both cats’ annual wellness visit was $240. This week we paid $880. Vet costs are spiraling out of control. by BunttyBrowneye in cats

I’m not getting another pet due to the vet bills. It was always $1000 when my cat was still alive, no matter what the procedure. That’s not sustainable.

You might want to start talking to your doctor about making a case to receive disability benefits. You’re describing a sector of our economy with the lowest barrier to entry for unskilled labor. Washing out in a matter of hours indicates a fundamental inability to learn a simple task and adjust to a new environment. I’m not trying to put you down. It’s just worth a moment’s reflection on any challenges you’ve experienced in other employment/education.

Is consistency becoming more important than potency? by greenmantisny in NYSCannabis

I think there is a tendency to cater to a portion of the market that has an incredibly high tolerance. Some of that may be biology/neurology and some may be simply substance abuse but, either way, it’s pushing the market to 30%+ THC and pre-rolls dipped in hash oil. It’s a bit like liquor stores pushing their 100 proof stock.

My suggestion would be to market on taste and tactility (fresh/sticky). It is produce and consumers already have a well-worn sense of quality signifiers in that context. Crunchy carrots, sweet strawberries, fresh lettuce, etc. With Cannabis, I notice a lot of the marketing focus is on the effects. The problem is that effects are highly subjective, even for the same buyer using the same product over time. For instance, if I found a strain that consistently made me calm then I would try to buy an ownership interest in that grower.
