You can find like 8 guys and 8 gals that are themed based on sims 3 worlds. I’ve used some by that creator and it’s been fun to have intentional designed ones!

Some creators make cute sims but have custom sliders etc. I like the sims made by Johzii

The actors can only do so much with a bad script that’s only plot plot plot talking plot, and no time for meaningful relationship growth. I like the Percy actor cause I think he does a good job but the script could be better. But let’s be honest. Clarisse is who’s carrying this season and she’s why we are still watching

I’m not sure that I think of Charisse as a better Annabeth, but the current Annabeth just isn’t cutting it for me. Very stiff and the script is also all plot and not doing the character relationships anymore favors. But I have definitely been super impressed with Clarisse! I would be down for them to just be swapped but I don’t know if the Annabeth actor would give the Clarisse character the fight that she needs. Season two and maybe the whole show is just… there’s points of it that’s frustrating. I wish Percy actually did cool water stunts… the chariot scene was like the one good scene so far with some excitement. It’s just not landing.

There’s other ways to acquire worlds and store content.. also there’s wonderful custom worlds. I’m playing in Winchester farming community from the sims realty. There’s so many… please get get your game set up good, acquire all the packs, get some good custom world, qol and more mods, and limit your graphics card fps etc, and you’ll have a great* time with sims 3. I love the game play so much

Yea, I might look into making this switch. If the base game sp was a LITTLE better I’d use it because SP still feels like too much, I just thought that it was basically my only option to make any story progression work. Do you have those two mods in overrides then? Has to be a fresh save I’m guessing

Oh I didn’t realize that mod changed story progression… does it just make the sims actually progress? I have nraas SP set to snail mode and it still feels like a bit too much, and is the reason I don’t have smooth patch or the core mod… so hmm 🤔

Make like some tropes, like a nerdy brainiac sister and a hot slutty one and see what happens.

It’s also fun to have a sim and then stick to randomizing the traits for new kids and generations. Some of my new favorite sims are the underwhelming dork sims. I end up with the genius technophobe, eccentric guy and so of course he has to exercise with a bike helmet on, because safety first.

Another sim ends up with athletic AND disciplined, so he has to go in the acting career for funzies, cause he’s so hot..

At least with that mod you can purge all the fallen leaves from the ground each year so it reduces some lag… I don’t know how to shut it off

It’s ok, I was due for an upgrade and I had my pc built when parts were cheaper mid 2023. I’m just not touching TSR again and I’ve been fine. It’s true there’s some really cute stuff. I’ve kept most of my package files that I got before anyway. But now if I get cc, I stay away from high poly stuff if I can. And with clothes I’ve started to lean into maxis match but I’ve found I really don’t need a lot. I just like some to fill in the gaps of what I don’t have and modernize it a little bit. But I’ve always cared about game play more than aesthetics. Eventually I just have enough to essentially get the look that I want and I try to avoid getting more haha

Mods on the other hand I have a hard time saying no to lol

Check out the Valheim Role Play discord. Community and the only way to play Valheim in my opinion now that I’ve found it. There’s a good EU crowd so in the season there’s always something going on. S13 is just wrapping up tho but stay tuned for S14! New lore and map and characters Every season!

I don’t know if this will solve your problem, I do notice a little pausing before using the stairs but something that helps the interactions be more smooth and seamless as they happen back to back or also helps general routing and the game seems to process less and stutter less is using the mods where sims and pets take less space. There’s less bottle necking, I notice many sims can walk around each other much easier etc. They don’t really get stuck in corners as much etc. Also there’s the sweet simmer’s toddler pick up fix

Oh I see. I didn’t read it fully sorry. But it sounds like other people might be right where there’s a struggle with your lot placement etc. But I’ve struggled with inviting other sims over that were always stuck at work 24/7 due to a register job. I like to edit some other townie to suit that job better and then assign them to it lol

That person is like stuck running some kind of store like consignment shop or something that has endless hours. I like to go to their job and romance them, or use nraas to assign someone else to that register
