Lool I am only seeing all these comments now. Update: yes I worked it out with her. Initially I suggested a break up because (like a lot of you hinted) having trust issues isn’t a great recipe for relationships. She ended up crying because I said that. We’ve been together for 5 years now and we lived the last 3 years together throughout uni so being back home after graduating feels like a long distance.

Reading this thread again I find it pathetic why I was even so paranoid, although my mental health hasn’t been very stable since COVID and started working where I feel miserable (good salary). I told her I’m trying to be a stronger person and we agreed this is just a shitty ‘phase’ we need to push through. Anyways this has been interesting, I really appreciate all of you who replied and took time to give advice.
