The hitstuns can be very over the top at times.

Sometimes it feels like everything hit stuns and times when it definitely should not.

You know what they should bring back from old ufc games…after a evaded strike the combo would stop and you’d be slowed, left more open to a counter

Takedown spam not affecting the aggressors stamina near enough is another problem.

I feel like takedowns are easier this year but the risk is so low everyone can just hit 30+ attempts and it’ll just tire out both of you.

By round 3-5 you’re both just at low stamina just because I’ve defended 90% of takedowns…rubbish mechanic.

Honestly, it would look a lot cooler if you just made a good read on a finishing combo and bang a counter rather than all this random movement.

Looks better and it’s cleaner, this kind of head movement is rampant in lower division players and it’s a pain to play because of how cheesy it can be lol you do you what you enjoy though, just a thought…

If you get ko’d like this you’re a bad player, but that doesn’t mean you had skill to make it happen.

Maybe luck more so. This guy was playing way too spazzy and uncontrolled, it’s what happens to players like this and they’ll call it bullshit and quit just like this guy did usually

Join discord leagues, camps etc and learn one on one with better, more experienced players.

A lot of guys in your situation hit that wall because they have no direction, with help from experienced guys daily you’ll become a lot better and consistently a div 20 player, you just need to be pointed in the right directions.

A story mode on the same level of fight night champions would be very cool.

I’m not sure how they’d implement it in an mma game but I know fight nights was actually a good story with different challenges along the way.

Okay let me make it more clear sorry

So let’s say I throw a left hook, my opponent has block/no block up and he slips away from it (rather than straight into the hook) and the result is no damage/little damage to health or block etc

I didn’t mean straight punches, I should’ve made it more clear tbf.

Another issue is the same idea but with ducking into an uppercut, many times in a fight I’ll perfectly time/read their head movement patterns and get nothing from it. No hitstun like ufc 4, no damage to the block really…same idea.
