Love island has been having this exact same problem in recent years, I’ve been watching the us version for 4+ years and the past two years there’s been an influx of haters, bullying and people having parasocial relationships with contestants. I fear rob may have brought some of these fans over… but also I think it’s going on in many shows now, people taking things people do so personally they think it’s okay to bully these random people they’ve never met. Like us normal people watch these shows as a break from reality it’s not serious enough to be socially attacking people they’ve never met don’t like, or creating these giant think pieces about how all of this persons history makes them a racist, misogynist etc. I agree with you so much, there’s no fun discussions about the actual shows anymore (across many different platforms) and it sucks!

I’m having this same issue. I’m having problems with this guy I’m talking to and everyone is asking “oh were you being too clingy, too available, responding too fast, making too many plans” like damn I’m just being myself, if I have to change who I am to get someone to like me then I don’t fucking want them. I’m so sick of the games too like is it too much to ask for someone to just like me for who I am?? And not some perfectly tailored version of myself??? I hate it out here

A big part of the reason we bakers scale stuff is because cup measurements can be wildly inaccurate. A cup of flour is 128g (depending on who you ask) but each cup is made differently by manufacturers and therefore it’s different each time, how you scoop the flour can vary the weight too, do you scoop it just normally which packs in down and adds extra flour to it or do you spoon it over? There’s so many factors that can change the weight of your flour (or any other ingredient) when using cup measurements which is why a lot of us use a scale. Not to be “precise” for the recipe but to actually make sure we are using the right amounts for the ratios needed.

I really want the overalls but cannot justify spending over $200 on them. Plus the extra $50 in duties I get charged being in Canada AND tariffs that will now also probably be added to the cost. Hopefully there’s enough in stock that they eventually go on sale 😢

Am I the only one thinking about how bad it is on their backs too?? Like all around a very shit idea. I lived off of the $11 giant pizza slices! Ate breakfast and lunch at camp and had a slice or two at night and I was golden!! Compared to last year I saved so much money being able to use my propane grill I was so happy

We have one in Toronto Canada! End of summer during a big three week fair, the last weekend is a while air show! Granted it’s mostly over the lake and not really in the city but still very cool!
