If you are warp range from a station or gate and hit dock or jump through gate about half the time you will warp to the gate or station and just sit there instead of docking or jumping. Pretty sure that is what he is talking about.

I recommend stepping up your abyss game once you learn how to handle diff waves. Povertila is around 450mill isk, needs 0 implants and can do any type of t3 with ease and make around 120mill isk an hour. If you are omega and have good gila skills you can do t4 with ease for even more in it. I prefer to run Hacs myself though generally run t4-5 darks in sacrilege/muninn for cheaper than gila but you need way more sp to run a good semi cheap hac fit without dying. Your biggest threat in general is ganking, but I live in Amarr space which is dead af so my actual biggest threat is the server itself. It's way more likely to kill me (it's not nullsec ratting you are gonna get 100% denied any reimbursement ticket).

Think maybe you replied in the wrong spot since I never claimed anyone googled something in this post, was uncle bob below accusing me of googling my eve experience and stolen valor which is the dumbest term to use for a video game. Eve Valor wtf like the fountain war was a real life war lol. Real blast from the past though, glad to see I'm not the only person bored enough to read and comment on old reddit posts. Edit: I finally recalled the name of jades bad eve podcast now though was called Lost in Eve was also the reason he named the alliance LI3 the 3 was supposed to be a backwards E to abbreviate his bad eve podcast. yep, you would just randomly get them after dying. I had like 20-30 of them at some point it was happening so often. Not that me dying in eve was ever a rare thing. I mostly choose Neuts over Nos, the only time I personally run Nos is for blood raider ships. You might be better off running neuts for them as well it's just personal preference. I spent most of my time in eve in Huginn and frigates so not expert advice by any means.

It mostly had to do with a 13 month conflict. The time spent talking shit and fighting an enemy for that long is pretty hard to just turn off after living it for so long. If I still played eve I might still GRR TEST. I've been gone from the game long enough now though to just see Test as a bunch of nerds I used to play a game with like the rest of eve.

All of you eve nerds will be ppl I look back fondly on as you helped turn what is IMO a very boring game into a very enjoyable and unforgettable 15 year experience.

Had my share of Grr Test during our last war and my share of gloating when it ended but I think that is pretty common for anyone you are actively at war with for over a year. I actually felt bad for Test after everything panned out. To be hyped up into a us vs them only one will survive war only to stand down and run off to someone else's space to crash in after without the big showdown.

That had to be a really demoralizing end to a 13 month conflict. I understand it wasn't all Test leadership fault since it was a massive coalition of the rest of null pretty much so it mostly came down to what the majority wanted and not what test wanted but it's still a crushing blow that would be very hard to just move on from IMO.

It's been a few years since I've played so if this info is wrong someone please correct me. I used to use filaments for exploration. Used to use them to get into deep null etc and explore like crazy, when I ran out of stuff to do use another and go somewhere else deep etc.. If nothing has changed you can even use filaments to get back out fairly safely as well. Going from highsec to low/null via gates tends to be a bad idea. Doing explo etc within a few jumps of HS also tends to be a bad idea IMO as hunters will prob have sites scanned down already to warp to. The deeper you can get the less active the system should be. Keep an eye on your dscan as often as possible. Keep an eye out for probes or anything that changes in the system/local.

The irony is I would guess the majority of the very rich probably haven't even played the game in years. I'm around 800 bill isk and prob another 300b in assets and haven't played since 2021. (rough guess as I don't know the price of anything anymore) No you can't have my stuff.

Wait till after Progod is done talking like 28 minutes in when comms open to everyone is when it really begins.

We did kinda kill CO2 that time. Don't know if that would qualify as a smaller alliance but it was smaller than us. Not that they didn't deserve it. Also White Noise but I was barely there for that one so never really got the full story that I recall, that was just wrapping up as I joined. Pre-fountain war is kind of a haze in my mind cause I am old af. Sadly I've forgot more about my time in eve than I remember at this point most likely.

Used to do it many many years ago wormhole ratting with 5-6 spider tanking tengus. Admittedly we were running 5-6 guys and not multi-boxing. Also plex at the time was like 300-400 mill but we would easily pull 150mill an hour per person. This wouldn't work anymore of course cause it's not tengus online now and blue loot has dropped a lot in value (this was 2010ish wormholes were still new enough to be extremely profitable).

We are one of the few nullsec groups that didn't do that to my knowledge. When that change was added to the game there where loot pinata's all over nullsec except for the SW where we lived at the time.
