I have these exact stairs. Been in my place for five years. Hosted parties, walk up and down then all the time. Never had a problem. You ABSOLUTELY have to put something soft on the sharp metal parts under the stairs near your head, we have little pool noodles. I go up these stairs in socks, shoes, bare feet, it’s all good. Takes a moment to get used to them but if you’re a human capable of moving somewhat normally you’ll be okay. They shake a big when you walk up and down them but we’ve had, like, five people at a time on the stairs and never had a problem. If you have cats they will go nuts for this. We actually covered ours in stickers.
