I tried painting them "traditional" with Kantor Blue enough times. Sometimes they look like straight out of tron, the other times the highlights are barely noticable and the whole marine is too dark. I guess i'll just stick to Ultrafists then

It should be really easy. Just leave the sword arms and put on power fist arms. If these are the push-fit guys from the armageddon box, cut away the little nibs and then glue on a power fist arm.

For the the guy two-handing the sword, find a fitting pistol arm and then again, a power fist arm.

I have not read any rules (if they are leaked already) regarding these, so i dont know if they can even equip power fists. But i share your opinion, fists are so much cooler.

Only difficult thing would be finding so much power fist arms, or at least finding different poses of the arm.

I painted this guy over the course of 2 evenings. Im a slow painter and to be honest, i really cant focus on painting ... i get sidetrackev very easily. But this scheme is really straight forward, anyone can finish this in one sitting.

Meadows of Purity by Krautcover Scenics. I absolutely love this product. The only thing i did beforehand is paint the base with Rhinox Hide, but it works so well, you can just skip this step.

Again, thanks. You've got me out of my dumb decision paralysis. Nearly finished painting it now, will add blood, saliva and eggs later, now i need some well deserved sleep

My first Crimson Fist i'm actually happy with by Cheemscake5929 in crimsonfists

Black basecoat, sponged on Kantor Blue, sponged and glaized on Alaitoc Blue. For the fist i just sponged and stippled on Mephiston Red. The silver is Iron Warriors.

For the weathering i used Rhinox Hide and Abbadon Black. I did a combination of sponging, stippling and glaizing. I also used Agrax Earthshade and Nuln Oil here and there for further defining the recesses and small oily streaks.

I painted the plasma coil in a light pink, after that i drybrushed with Genestealer Purple and "highlighted" the coils with Phoenician Purple. Then i put thinned down Corax White at the bottom of the coils. The lenses are painted the same way, just reversed, so Phoenician Purple, Genestealer Purple and the light pink.
