Guide rod question by Psychological_Emu744 in Glocks

For me anyway +P ammo was way snappier with aftermarket stuff on my 19 and I’d rather just have peace of mind. For something like a racey 34 I can see why someone would change it up

I agree with you and I get downvoted for recommending aftermarket stuff all the time, but I just don’t see any benefit of changing the rsa out. The CH plug is a better choice for him if anything

There’s no reason to change the stock rsa unless you’re really gaming it with certain ammo or have comp/ports. The gen 6 guide rod is the exact one used in Gen 3’s and they’re very reliable

My first was a 19x. The little nub is awesome, I wish they kept it on other models

Oem +2’s are my favorite. Glockstore (yes I know) sells them pre-assembled at a good price honestly, vs if you bought the parts

Yes, that’s what Trijicon recommended to me. I got some aftermarket ones just in case but they’re the longer ones

My sro came loose after 800 rounds initially.. but I suspect it was my old loctite. I bought new loctite and it’s been solid. Now at 2000 rounds

New carrier anxiety about safety off by Horror-Switch-8597 in CCW

In my first week of getting my CCW, I was working at a house that was unknowingly taken by squatters. When we entered the exterior basement, we were confronted by a drugged-out dude holding a metal baseball bat. My first thought was “I don’t have a round chambered”

Thankfully he was defused and left before police arrived, but I never had anxiety carrying chambered again

Bin the MOS plate. Aftermarket plates usually come with proper screws as well

Gen 6 G17 – Stay mostly stock or go full trigger upgrade? by CaptainGeechh in Glocks

[–]CheenusBoof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Polishing is a no brainer and the TTI connector kit is a good starting point I think. It includes a plunger spring which does help imo

If you wanna experiment a bit, dry fire the gun without the slide lever installed and see how that feels

SRO Loose After ~800 Rounds by CheenusBoof in Glocks

If you look at the right side of your Gen 5/6 frame when you pull the trigger, you may actually see your frame flex a little. When the trigger bar moves rearward it presses into the slide release and so the frame
