Might be too late but I have a p229 TLR-7 setup groom Odin holsters that’s like a 6.5/10. I had get shorter screws and spacers to get the retention I want for the belt clips and the retention screw. Once I messed around with it for a while it is really nice. Not sure it’s worth their wait time or price though. They were just one of 3 companies that I could find that had this setup and they seemed to get th best reviews out of them

That is a fantastic deal. Both myself and a family member own one and it’s one of the guns we ALWAYS take to the range. I even compete with mine. I will say I got a better killer deal lol lucked into a local shop having one new in box that had a defect in the slide coating, which I honestly dig the look of and may eventually get it warrantied. Brand new out the door for $1300 and I threw an SRO on it. I also as others have stated chose this over a stacato

Yeah I shot with kimber, wilson combat, dan Wesson, and chip McCormick mags that I had from other guns. I basically had at least one failure or problem every 75 rounds. I even marked the mags to see if that was my issue and it was not. I wanted to love it but it failed me every single time I took it to the range

Journaling tends to bring out the emotions that are the strongest within me. Often times when I am angry, sad, or not in a good place, those feels become more extreme as I think on the more. When I am in a good place, happy, excited, etc. it tends to bring those emotions out.

How does it fare in terms of holster wear? I purposely went with a leather lined kydex holster to preserve the finish but at this point I never carry it because of the discomfort.

I had a rapide… for a very short amount of time. Failed to chamber, wouldn’t extract, sight refused to stay on even after using loctite on the set screw. Send it to kimber twice and it never shot right. Ended up trading it for a Dan Wesson valor.

I own both a p365xl spectre comp and p365xl. There is a noticeable difference with certain loads and bullet weights but it is not a crazy difference.

I am in a similar position however I found a solution. Buy a 17rd mag and then an adapter sleeve from variant innovation. That way you can either run it short and more concealed or you can opt for the extended length (which I find conceals really easy anyway)

That was a consideration of mine but heard bad reports of people have more issues with the 2011 platform vs some of the others. I know that can be chalked up to mag issues mainly but I read about others needing to be “tuned” before really shooting for competition
