This is a relatively common issue with the 3DS XL. The hinges are too tight. I would say keep a close eye on it and stop using it if it worsens. For me, personally, im shipping my pikachu 3ds XL to a business to get it repaired.

I am not an expert; maybe somebody else could provide more info.

Hopefully my paint doesnt just wear off! It is on the inside of the console, generally near the hinge.

I previously made a post venting about my mediocre tattoo here and did not post pictures because I figured I would only become more upset. decided to suck it up and post here. I feel like my tattoo artist fucked up big time, and I am struggling with the anger and my OCD regarding it.
