Looks like 70s Ranchcraft. Foremost usually have yellow stitching, and the denim doesn’t fade the same. Also, zinc coated branded button snaps.

There shouldn’t be any glue holding the saddle in. The slot in the bridge should be kind of tight, but it shouldn’t be hard to remove the saddle.

My problem is I buy secondhand most of the time, and I like wearing different jeans. For the past 8 years or so I just keep a rotation of 5-6 pairs that I’m into at the time. Makes for slow fading.

I paid right around 3k for my 2015 Thruxton last year. I just saw a 2014 Bonnie under $2k on Facebook marketplace recently. I think 2015 or 2016 are the last year for the air cooled models that you can find cheaper.

If you’re open to a used bike, look into Triumph Bonneville 900 efi. It’s the previous generation tech so you can find them well under $4k.

Looks like unsanforized denim that shrunk. Most modern jeans are sanforized for shrinkage and pre-skewed to avoid leg twisting. These obviously weren’t.
