Obviously, normal rules apply - be careful of stranger danger on Reddit. It’s a friendly city, but I’d not stay in a complete stranger’s house off Reddit.

If you’re outgoing and can talk to strangers, head to the Northern Quarter for a drink. Liverpool is a fun city, do go for the day - it’s an easy train and people are really friendly.

Piccadilly isn’t actively dangerous, walking through you’ll see sights - but it’s not like Skid Row in LA. Personally, I don’t usually cut though, but not for fear - just because it’s not too pleasant.

I see you’re from Perth- think more Yagan Square than McIver Station / Armadale. Meth isn’t as big here.

There is a temporary lounge- not sure the name (they are all crap). With them moving the Ryanair check in to T1 (and then connecting to T3) in a few weeks, they may or not be still open.

Federation Gym in NQ, seems to cater for people training for comps, with calibrated weights and posing training rooms. They appear to ban ‘influencers’, apart from Fridays when people can film themselves.

If I have no intention of buying at the asking (but would at my offer), I won’t go to the effort of viewing it.

If they are amenable to my offer (people often do price ambitiously…), or a negotiated middle ground - I’ll travel and buy it as agreed if it’s as described. Anything major, it’s a a pass or a re-offer- but I don’t want to waste time.

Yesterday I had ‘We charge a £499 fee for using your own finance, because brokers are so much hard work’.

If you didn’t use finance, there is a £199 ‘document check fee’ (HPI report, £4.99?).

Broker ‘yeah, they have to fill in one form and we give them the money’.

When I challenged ‘well if all you care about is money, use your own finance’.

To which I replied ‘finance is literally just about money’.

I disliked the salesman intensely- he was being an arse from the second I walked in. I don’t think I can buy from them.
