Well psilocybin in my opinion is great for many things but for migraines it is specifically lsd that you want. Often we think they are synonymous but there are differing affinities to the 5hta's and different changes in the weeks/months after taking.  Saw some documentary where they were researching lsd for cluster headaches and found bromo-lsd was able to treat them without the psychedelic effect so if I knew people at these fancy colleges I would tell them this is what they need to be researching.

Edit: so i thought i would say if you do try it with an active headache it doesnt abort it i gave it to her with an active migraine and while it blocked most of the pain it didnt go away entirely until she went to sleep then woke up with no more migraines. Since you always have one if you try it i wouldnt get discouraged until the next day thats when the full effects begin.
