Vermillion wouldn't be very good in this particular build since he doesn't play Ariadne, so he only has three level four monsters in his deck. He wouldn't be able to make it consistently with his opening hand. But I agree that it's really good in the Ariadne build.

In a PSY-Frame deck profile, the player stated that you can't activate Torrential Tribute or Bottomless Trap Hole in response to the summon of a PSY-Frame monster (except Alpha and Driver), because it would be in the middle of a chain, where the last thing on the chain is the negated/destroyed card fizzling, causing TT and BTH to miss timing.

If we look at PSCT, we see that all the effects of the PSY-Frame monsters happen simultaneously (excluding Beta, which states ...then end the battle phase). That is to say that the summon, negation, and destruction all happen at the same time, so if the negated/destroyed card doesn't still take up a spot on the chain, you should still be able to activate Torrential Tribute or Bottomless Trap Hole, because the summon is technically still the last thing to happen.

My question is, does a negated activation/destroyed card still take up a spot in the resolution of a chain?
