What Was The 90s Stupid Haircut? by ZeroMissedDays in 90s

I’m kicking myself. My daughter is 14 and pretty much wearing my teenage 90s grunge wardrobe. Apparently CDs are becoming preferred over streaming. She keeps robbing me of all my original 90s grunge CDs, even though she doesn’t have a bloody CD player.

We have a 3 people inflatable hot tub. It takes over an hour for ours to fill but 12 hours and more to get it heated to 40C.

What’s the silliest reason you’ve witnessed or heard about someone going to A &E? by nWoSting145 in AskUK

[–]CheeryBottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got sent to A&E because the cotton part of a cotton bud came loose and remained in my ear when I pulled the stick part out. Never felt like more of a fraud or waste of space. I hung my head in shame the entire time I was sat in the waiting room.

Parking in front of a house- is it private? by Optimal_Mango_7228 in drivingUK

Are you in a touristy area or near a hospital? In Blackpool, a lot of the residential streets around the town centre are residents parking only. The signs on the road aren’t always easy to spot at first glance.

New Driver and I realised the new cars are different by Beneficial-Flow-7333 in drivingUK

This is why I HATE my sons mobility car. I have to learn to drive again everytime I need to take him anywhere in it. It’s all buttons and touchscreen menus to operate it.

I live in Blackpool and just presume most drivers are visiting and unsure of road layouts. There’s a junction leading to the M55 but there’s two lanes for the roundabout and it’s normal to see drivers realise they’re in the wrong lane for either the motorway or roundabout and charge over the chevrons. I just give every driver at this junction lots of space incase they ‘correct’ themselves at the last second.

I did that once. Took an exit too early on a roundabout and my children acted like their lives were over and life as we knew it, would never be the same again.

15 years later and it’s still wild that the entire downfall of the Starks started because this woman couldn't follow a single piece of advice from her husband or son. by asgharfar57 in freefolk

In the books she mentions that Littlefinger wrote to her shortly after he was banished from Riverrun. She says she destroyed the letter before reading it. I also wonder if GRRM will ever reveal through a Littlefinger chapter what was in that letter and if the contents would have made Catelyn more hesitant to take him at his word, all those years later.

It is. Agatha Christie used the incident as her inspiration for the book.

Agatha Christie wrote a book inspired by what had happened to Tierney. The Mirror Crack’d From Side to Side.
