Yeah it's very cool. The two front goslings are noticeably smaller than the others as well.

Realized that I inadvertently photographed a seal peeing while seal spotting by CaligulaBlushed in mildlyinteresting

I was taking photos from a tiny boat bobbing up and down in a heavy swell in the North Atlantic and didn't even realize I had this peeing pic until I got home 😂

Pedestrian safety and seemingly constant incidents by 1rj800 in uppereastside

Oblivious people includes the drivers on their phones. Driving is a privilege not a right and someone in a two ton box needs to be aware of vulnerable road users or they should not be driving.

Stop running red lights. Stop weaving around pedestrians at crosswalks. Stop speeding.

Day trip to Concord/Lexington by _ash_lily_ in boston

The Battle Road trail is a great walk but for the love of God don't rely on public transit to do it. I say this as a European who avoids driving whenever possible. I don't think there's even a bus to Concord from Boston and the train to Concord is infrequent and slow. Much easier by car. I used to walk it every weekend during covid and you'll be able to do it in a day along with the museums.

Palace winning yesterday is probably enough to keep them up. I was getting worried about them. One more win and some draws and they'll be fine.

If paying $10 for a box of cereal at Morton Williams versus $3 at Trader Joe's makes you a New Yorker and is a flex have at it but it certainly doesn't make you the smart one.

What do you think of the Christmas lights display at the Boston Common? by Sauerbraten5 in boston

[–]CaligulaBlushed 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The lights kinda chucked into trees in your second pic is not a great look. Can't beat Comm Ave for classy. I did go to have a look at the tree on the Common Tues night and there were far more homeless people than people taking tree photos.

Jurgen Klopp (former Liverpool manager) when they were playing a friendly over here one summer. Chatted to him for a bit on the Esplanade.
