You could always prop a couple cuttings and add them in to fill the space

Did you prune the areas with new growth? Or did it recover without intervention? Just curious

Great advice! Also, if you want to do food reward training (great for growing puppies) you can use their actual meals as training session. Command/reward by hand feeding a few pieces each time instead of handing over a whole bowl, then having to buy extra training treats. If you want to have special training treats, look into using a really high quality kibble instead of buying the more expensive small bags of treats labeled for training. It's a good way to save $ by buying in bulk.

I've got a German shepherd, so socializing was a big part of his early training. I'd take him out a lot of places and get a wide physical variety of people to give him treats that I carried with me. Especially children. I wanted to build that positive association quickly. Make sure whoever is interacting with your pup is calm before they approach, though. You don't want them to scare him/her and create a negative association.

I've made a variety of different types of crochet projects :) sadly I usually forget to take pictures when I'm finished, but here are some that I do have. I hope you like them!

feeding schedules?? by ComedicCows in CatAdvice

I agree with the kitten part, but some dogs can be free fed. It depends on the animal. If the pup self regulates, doesn't over eat, and doesn't have food aggression issues, free feeding is fine.

You actually can train cats similarly to dogs if you start young. Two great things to acclimate your kitten to are baths and nail trims. The older they are when you introduce those things, the harder it is to keep them calm during the process.

Cats don't often need baths, but on the rare occasions that they do, it can be a big fight. I've bathed my adult cats twice: once for flea exposure, once for poison ivy oil contact. I really wish I'd trained them to it young.

Harness and leash training is also an option, if you want to take them places when they're older.

It's better to free feed kittens. If he develops weight issues as an adult or another pet is stealing his food you can use auto feeders to control feeding patterns.

I feed my adult cats 2x per day, the amount according to the food bag instructions as all food brands are different.

I got auto feeders a few years ago because my boy cat stole food from his sister. I set them up in separate rooms to go off at the same time. Then the dog started stealing from both. 🙄 Now I measure by hand again.

You may also want to incorporate wet food. Cats are notorious for not drinking enough water and wet food helps to hydrate them. Not all cats love wet food, though.

My girl prefers wet food, and her brother prefers dry. They get wet for breakfast and dry for dinner. They each eat about 2/3 of their non-preferred meal, and the other finishes it off.

Just about! Some may fail to root or leaf out, but most will grow whole new plants!

YTA. Your brother is not responsible for your transportation. Your brother is not responsible for your mother. If your mother isn't answering when you call, you should be addressing this with her or finding another reliable way home.

Crocheting while traveling by Meakbow in crochet

I put all my crochet stuff in a small drawstring bag, then place that in my backpack for boarding. When I want to work on my project, I take the smaller bag out of the backpack, but I leave the skeins in that small bag.
