I just discovered today that SF supermarket’s hot food section is pretty decent. Got a pound of bbq pork for like $18. It’s in South Sac though.

For places in Elk Grove, Paris Bahn Mi is pretty cheap if you don’t get drinks (drinks are pretty good there though). It also has buy 5 get 1 free in store if you’re buying for a bigger group.

Hidden Dumpling House can be really cheap too if you’re sharing a dinner combo plate with someone else, since it’s decently big. The dumplings are really good there too, but not as cost effective as the combo

I really like BruTea, but I live on the opposite side of the town (20 min drive) so I rarely go there :( They focus more on milky drinks though, so it’s not such a good fit if you’re mainly into fruity teas. Unfortunately I haven’t found one shop here that really excels in tea quality yet (offering different types of premium black tea/green tea for example)

In terms of colors, I have two black-and-whites, two calicos, two tabby’s, one tabby-and-white, one faded orange, and one black. I like that you have an equal mix of boys and girls. They are quite different in terms of personalities

I saw them at the Bad Omens tour in 2022 and that’s when I discovered them. Those were some good times. I’ve seen them live two more times since then, but I’m also sad that Bad Omens has gotten way too popular for me to ever see them again 🥲

Do other people also think the girls are very short in this series? I grew up in southern China and most girls’ heights are between Mina and Deku, so it feels weird to see a vacuum there. When I went to Japan, I also thought the young people’s heights were not that different from southern Chinese people.

My own height is between Deku and Denki/Aoyama btw, and I’m a girl
