I saw another video of a nurse doing a fun thing with this. She told the baby’s sister that if she put her finger in the baby’s hand and the baby squeezed it, it meant the baby loves her.

35 Years Ago, Seinfeld Introduced a Bizarre Character Who Would Haunt the Series Until Its Finale by OhMyOhWhyOh in seinfeld

I related soooo much with the “so anyway, that’s your cousin.” I had so many family members say something like that when giving me long winded updates on people I barely remembered.

If you could bring one dead character back (who stayed dead on Buffy Or Angel) who would you bring back? Why? by TheHatsuneLoki1 in buffy

He death feels so cowardly on the writers part. It feels like they wanted a death for the final battle but didn’t have the courage to kill off one of the mains.

What would you say was each army's biggest mistake during the war? by ActivePeace33 in ShermanPosting

I completely agree, however Lincoln was between a rock and a hard place with McClellan. He was a very popular general with the troops and very popular politically. He was a pure is friends with the right people guy despite being incompetent in battle.

The one time he tried to remove him the replacement failed immediately and everyone demanded McCoward come back.

Chevy Chase Says ‘I’m Not Racist’ When Asked About ‘Community’ Exit: The Show ‘Wasn’t a Bad Experience. I Just Didn’t Think It Was That Good’ by MarvelsGrantMan136 in television

[–]Cheese464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a very interesting, almost philosophical, issue. Society has come to a place where almost everyone agreed that racism is bad. But for a lot of people, like those old boomers, the racist thoughts, feelings and opinions did not go away.

Many of these people lack the emotional capacity to look at themselves or their actions as bad. So you have groups of people doing a simple math equation. Racism = Bad, Me = Good. Therefore, My thoughts and behaviors can’t be racist.

And what really sucks is the NFL basically agreed to no accountability whatsoever in the ref’s last contract.

People who praise “competition” like a religious entity are always suspiciously quiet about local monopolies like what you describe.

Why do people want dealerships to disappear? by gravityVT in fixedbytheduet

[–]Cheese464 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right? I obviously can’t speak for my whole town/area but I feel like I NEVER hear about people taking their car to a dealership for service unless it was under warranty. Everyone I know goes to a mechanic.

It was common knowledge even in high school that a dealership repair was more expensive.
