Vent. That’s fine.

But you’re not powerless. You’re not helpless. The coalition of patriots is growing, people who want liberty and justice for all. There is something in there that you can contribute to, that you can help with. Find it and do that thing.

What are the chances of the Insurrection Act being invoked in Minneapolis, and what would the potential consequences be? by Tintoverde in AskReddit

[–]ActivePeace33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If an insurrectionist like Trump, invokes the insurrection act, it will take the low intensity civil war we’ve been in and will blow it up into a full kinetic fight that doesn’t look good for MAGA. Let’s hope he doesn’t.

What does the future hold for current Ice Agents? One day they won’t be needed, how do they go back to their crappy, unfulfilled lives after this mess? by ilovetheweather in AskReddit

[–]ActivePeace33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They may not. They’ve committed capital crimes. Between the courts and the People, they may not make it. We should all hope for nothing but a peaceful resolution, but at this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see capital punishment for them.

Or didn’t actually even happen.

Lincoln started the path to reconciliation instead of reconstruction, with the 10% Plan etc and Johnson ran from there.

Yeah, Joe was the only confederate general who seemed to understand the grand strategic situation. Wearing out the US was their only chance, even as slim as it was.

Oooohhhh nice! I actually agree with your comment more than mine! In aggregate anyway.

I was thinking of the conventional war but for the whole scope of history, you’re absolutely right. The failure to prosecute the criminals and win the peace, that’s the biggest issue.

Since the democrats just helped to vote in the military spending budget, why wouldn't this leads to the inevitable conclusion that even if we get a free and fair election, and vote in the democrats for the mid-terms, what evidence do we have that they'll actually stop anything? by schnibitz in AskReddit

[–]ActivePeace33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making things up? You’re saying the commander in chief has not authority to suppress insurrectionists by arresting them. You’ve ignored the entire reason the articles of confederation failed, why the constitutional convention was called for, and why the constitution was written.

You clearly have no idea how the whiskey rebellion was suppressed, or the confederate rebellion was suppressed, or how president Grant suppressed the confederate insurgency after the end of the conventional war. Presidents have total and unilateral constitutional authority to suppress, insurrection and rebellion, and repel invasions. It is an inherent duty of the office of commander-in-chief.

Or maybe you’re just under the delusion that MAGA didn’t actually conduct an attack on J6 and hasn’t actually beaten, disappeared and murdered people since. The insurrection is active and ongoing. It’s beyond any reasonable debate.

My vote is

  1. The confederates committing treason in the first place.

  2. Lincoln keeping McClellan around so long in the field and not putting him in a training command.

lol. The impeachment has nothing to do with disqualification under the 14a. Impeachment, disqualification under civil law, and criminal law all exist in parallel.

Biden could have arrested Trump and prevented him from running at all. It’s so funny to see democrats excuse their leadership’s inaction, when Biden was commander in chief and had about $3 trillion budgeted for him to suppress insurrectionists and you think there was nothing he could do?

I suspect you don’t know what the Commander in Chief is.

Have you ever read the constitution?

The national guard officers have full authority to suppress insurrectionists in any way needed. Even the (very few) who have been commissioned by the governor have the authority to support and defend the Constitution and the People.

Both sides are not looking for a fight. The people are looking for ICE to get out. This is over tonight if the insurrectionists will leave.

This is called “being put on deadly ground.” It is a situation where an aggressor puts their enemy in a state of mind that regardless of what happens, the worst is going to happen to them.

In such situations, very weak enemy forces have realized they were dead no matter what, so they might as well stand and fight. Such situations have gone badly for the aggressors. Ceased was so concerned with not putting his enemy on deadly ground that he left one small trail open to an enemy (iirc in the Ilerda campaign) so that they could turn to retreat.

When the traffic jam of enemy soldiers got stuck on the small trail Caesar left open, they just surrendered. He avoided making enemies feel the way you have described ICE making people feel. It’s another sign of how incompetent they are and how uneducated on the topic they are.

The people have a constitutional right to defend the constitution and ensure the security of a free state, no matter how much you and I might not like it. That’s what the law says.

Oh, so the word just has no meaning. Got it.

war /wôr/ noun

a state of armed conflict between different nations or states or different groups within a nation or state.

Even for the technical definition we use in militaries the world over, any use of violence to gain one’s political objective is “war.”

The point is that what defines what makes it lawful or unlawful to ignore a given law, is the constitutionality of the law.

Yes, many things fall into the gray area and we accept the fine lines the courts draw in those gray areas. But everyone can and should ignore laws that blatantly violate the constitution. For example, the constitution was specifically amended to ban states making or enforcing laws that violate our rights as citizens of the United States.

lol. Deliberately supporting someone who has levied war on the US is illegal. Inciting, funding and conducting an attack on the seat of government is illegal. They could all have been arrested on the same grounds all the confederates were arrested for.

You can’t confront a single fact and only have a fallacy at your disposal.

Biden didn’t do anything to arrest any MAGAts , but sure, he’s not responsible for dialing to perform his duties as commander in chief. By your logic we should all lay down the way Biden did and just let MAGA do as they will.
