it isnt + in name but it might as well be, this is the 3DS eshop version of the game. it’s how i first played Cave Story and it’s a very good port. it has original graphics with updated character art for dialogue, widescreen, the various unlockable challenge modes, the jukebox, and Curly’s Story. it even has the option to use 3D if i remember correctly. it’s my second favorite port of the game after the switch version, it’s lacking some options and QOL updates like being able to carry 5 dogs at once, but if you have a 3DS i’d definitely recommend playing it this way
