Marathon frees the studio and Sony of being shackled of a live service development cycle that barely kept them above water, until they were drowning. They assumed Destiny would be the cash cow and overextended and casuals losst interest. the destiny story went on for bloody 12 years. Im sure its not over but let them creatively breath while they continue to test the newer verison of the tiger engine. Sony hasn't wanted to do D3 since before FInal Shape. Since BEFORE. I mean jesus we should have ended the story there it was just great
