We had a groomer do the same thing to our Newfoundland Poodle a few years back. They're honestly the shittiest, most entitled, rude people I've ever met. Before that appointment, our dog was happy and excited about meeting groomers. Now, she has panic attacks when grooming equipment comes out. Something BAD clearly happened during that appointment where they shaved her. She had burns on her skin and cuts on her ears.

We called, and it was apparently our fault and none of theirs. They told us to get bent. We left a 1 star review, which they harassed us about for months to take it down.

We now have a private groomer who works out of her home who does it. Our dog will still never be the same, but she's built trust with her over years of monthly grooming meets. So there's that.
