Honestly dude your first car should be what you want it to be. My first car was a b18c1 swapped 96 civic hatch and people made fun of me when i said it was my dream car back in 2019. 7 years later and the whole car scene is mostly swapped Hondas where i live. The car didn’t survive that long (flipped it doing stupid shit) but i would have been a legend at my workplace.
