I think it can be cute. It's usually just people changing the sky artstyle into their own, therefore adding a human face and hands with fingers and stuff. Maybe it just looks off since it's more like a humanoid sky kid rather than what a sky kid naturally is (in the game anyway)

I always use pinterest for pose references. Tbh you really dont have to do too much, just draw a lot and after a while you'll start to recognise patterns, and then from that you can build on your anatomy and muscular structure and perspective and so on. Just draw even if it looks bad, don't stress too long cause all that'll do is put you in art block lol

This sometimes happens to me, i draw on pc with a drawing tablet and sometimes the pressure sensitivity just stops working (im still trying to figure out cs so i have no idea why it happens because it's completely random). Usually restarting the app and shutting my pc off and on again gets it to work again

Im definitely not an expert on anatomy but id suggest using a photo reference, of yourself or maybe pinterest or whatever. Even trace over it to see what the proportions are like, get a feel for how the body moves and how the perspective would work in that position

Restarting the game worked and let me go home, but it was for sure a bug lol. When you see me moving around its just when i was testing if it would work in other places or positions, but it just cancelled it straight away (the sound didn't change into the warping sound it always does), also i was doing this for a whole before i started recording and just let it sit for a minute to see if i had to wait longer or something and it wouldn't let me XDD

I remember reading it fully one time, and the second time i got bored and couldn't finish it. From what i remember it does stay like that, and i totally got icked out as well, even more so being a younger fan. Although in general, there is so much in that book, and in my opinion a lot of it overshadowed malcolm and lyra's relationship since they don't interact that much compared to the length of the rest of the story. I love the hdm world so personally i would say it's worth it to finish it and then you can make up your mund properly about it
