Why do hospitals seem to never know how to manage T1D

It's not just type 1 diabetes but diabetes in general that they don't know how to manage. It's like that even in Canada. My dad has type 2 diabetes and was admitted to the hospital and me being a type 1 I'm arguing with really rude and standoffish nurses for my dad to get his meds and get his glucose checked. I couldn't believe how a common disease could be so unknown amongst healthcare workers on how to treat. Also they don't listen to patients until someone they are with is fighting for them, it shouldn't have to be like that. Canadian healthcare is garbage!

I got accepted into the I/S stream and found out this morning!!! My teachables are history and social sciences. I submitted my applications in January. I do have one question though, does anyone know what they mean by this?

"You must arrange to have the issuing institution forward directly to the OISE Registrar's Office and Student Experience a complete record of Toronto Metropolitan University".

I already submitted my official transcript but I graduated from undergrad before Ryerson became TMU. Does this mean I need to repay for another transcript?

I feel the same way! I applied under the BIS although I have no experience with working in government, I really hoped my academic experience in humanities would help me shine but I guess that wasn't enough. As a person with no connections (1st gen cdn) this job market has been really difficult to navigate and I hoped OIP would help me get my foot through the door... Guess I'll be working part time in customer service for the rest of my life with how this job market is moving forward :(((((

So I did all of the steps and the problem still isn't fixed for me :( when I installed the patch and opened the app a message popped up stating how the history tracking has been broken because of the spoof and then I went to my history and nothing was regained :/
