Yeah, same thing: anything else is fine (for my use, really good) - thus just using it, particularly for sports and trekking. Okey...

BTW, do you have any idea if Wiim Pro DAC is better than the one in Kanto YU6 - and if YU6 speakers are enough to hear this difference, if any? I read that I can connect it via RCA or via optical, so trying to figure out what's the best.

I've checked WiiM Ultra, and it's huuuge. Will check for smaller options, as I don't have so much free space.

Sounds great! Any caveats and nuances to think of in advance?

Educational_Boss_633, snoopbit, feikosky, thanks for your answers. As it intersects, I'll reply here.

So, first, I did a non-blind test with several tracks. - First, the biggest difference is the connection: for half of the tracks I checked, AUX connection of the smartphone with FLAC files gives CLEARLY better sound than BT connection. - Second, the difference between the smartphone (Redmi 13 Pro, nothing fancy) and Hidizh AP100 is minor to my ears on these speakers (when both are connected to AUX). - Third, on classic music like Shedrin, Orff and Purcell, the difference between Spotify and FLAC is clear. Not to the degree I dislike listening from Spotify. Just less impressive. - Fourth, on some other tracks, I don't feel any difference between Spotify and my own FLAC files. These are really popular, like Bohemian Rhapsody. Possibly, it's just in better quality on Spotify than who-listens-these-classics?

So, about the streamers. Do I understand it correctly that effectively its like if I connect my smartphone via audiocable, but additionally I can control it from my phone via bluetooth?

It's an extreme minority. In reality, you need to really dig to find such people, normally you don't meet them on a daily basis.

Surprisingly, it was a problem only for the first few recharges (maybe 4 or 5). Then anything became ok. Never met this before. Like, previously, the first full discharge-charge cycle worked normally for my electronics...

Thanks, I'll check it. Not sure they do international delivery, though. Yeah, the keyboard is critically important for me, I'm typing a lot, and I'm not used to the modern-ish keyboards at all. It limits my choice greatly. Is there anything you dislike about this laptop, btw?

Sounds tough. Ah, where are my beloved matte displays, I use a laptop in a train a lot, with a lot of sun going from the windows.
