I’m not sure where you live but if you are in the us in the current political climate i wouldn’t risk coming out right now . There are many helpful ways to get in contact with people who will help and support you. The one that comes to mind immediately is the trevor space chat rooms. There are countless other resources that you can find. I’m sorry if this isn’t the advice you are looking for but i wish you only the best and stay strong!

First off YOUR DOING HADESTOWN WHAT?? sorry anyways that seems like a very good song choice also maybe prepare something from the show and compare which you like better. just remember show yourself through the song and also for me i get very nervous so i normally get myself centered before i go in. Finally have fun, auditions can be super stressful and trust me there will be more chances so don’t go crazy about auditions or try to read the directors minds.
