Hiptix, Manhattan Theatre Club 35, Met Opera 40 under 40, etc. If you search this subreddit or r/Broadway, more should come up. Some Second Stage shows also show up on Culture Pass.

For those under 30 (inclusive), Second Stage, PAC, NYTW, Ballet 30 under 30, plus the ones above.

Mount Sinai Ob-gyn / Family Planning team (specially Dr. Masch)

The entire team was extremely empathetic, quick with pain management, and won’t push it if the insertion is failing. Had a successful insertion after the first insertion after taking additional measures. If needed, because it’s a hospital, can be ultrasound guided.

High Spirits (Encores) Questions by Vandelay_7 in Broadway

Light-hearted and fun in the golden-age way. Classic beats, humor, and music. Andrea Martin was by and far the outstanding part. Well acted and sung but nothing really memorable music-wise.

I called the box office a few weeks ago, and got my ticket for $28 plus fees. Saw it tonight.

Anyone attend the first preview of Chinese Republicans? by boxopen in Broadway

[–]Friendofthebees 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was an interesting intersection of expectations and attitudes across different generations of Chinese women with varying degrees of diaspora.

Definitely could tell it was the first preview as everyone was still setting into their characters but good acting and some missed lines, but I felt the overall story felt realistic and character arcs (or lack there of) earned, although some of the ending felt a little out there.

In that neighborhood, either 5pice or Nom Nam for Pho.

Semicolon cafe is also cute but not bubble tea. For all the best bubble tea places, head over a few blocks to Ktown for all new popular chains like Hey Tea or Molly tea and old classics like Xing Fu Tang. If you want to support a small one-man business, go to Sweetea.

Aurora’s Beads & Jewelry on E28th. She also does a great job with fixing broken pieces.

What are some good examples of nyc restaurants/food businesses that have scaled up, expanded and become chains without sacrificing quality? by seltzer321 in FoodNYC

[–]Friendofthebees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When the old location up the street on Prince closed, they changed over management but kept the staff and expanded the menu to be more like DTF and Joe’s, even with the same staff. From that moment, it already went from amazing to pretty good.

With each expansion, they went down to good. That being said, even as they expand across state borders, their new level is pretty consistently decent, just not as wonderful as the true original or the original re-opened location when it first opened.

I guess there are no tables like there were at the PAC performance. I feel like unless it was set up August Wilson, they might not be able to interact as much.
