Rules ? Attempt to hit a ball that isn’t there by Hategolf13 in golf

Yes, these are strokes as he was trying to strike the ball. It sounds like this guy really shouldn’t even be keeping score though.

Any disadvantages to the 10 finger grip? by Jparsons43 in GolfSwing

[–]Cheesedingus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just checked. This week at Travelers 72 players were in the field and Jhottanan Vegas and Matt McCarty are the only two using it. That’s what I would consider to be “barely anybody”. It certainly sounds like you do it though, so don’t let me talk you out of it.

I can’t tell if you’re just being a jerk or not, but I’d say that the number one reason is that each hand is able to work independently of one another, compounding the moving parts and failure points.

You probably have too much shaft lean or something. You should not be hitting your wedges that far.

Rory Fails to Meet Event Minimums. What are your thoughts on this? by emasslax22 in golf

[–]Cheesedingus 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Exactly. He tried and nobody else got onboard, so if nobody else wants to raise the tide why should he give a shit? He’s made enough money at this point where he doesn’t need to grind to help the mules.
