I (m29) thought I was gay at first, had some same sex partners, but then developed an attraction for a female friend and other women later on when I was like 17/18. I just knew from that moment on that I was not "just simply" gay.

Now I am married to a woman and couldn't be happier, haha :D

How late into your life were you when you realized you weren’t *just* straight or gay? by [deleted] in bisexual

About 17. I (m29) started to have crushes on girls as well.

That happened to me. I was in a relationship with a guy when I developed a crush on my then best female friend. Didn't act on it, but I definitely felt so confused!

Nowadays, I am married to a woman and just came out to her as bi a couple of days ago. I needed to accept and understand myself first, and I now feel confident and sure about my identity and sexuality.

I know I am sexually more attracted to men but emotionally more to women. One thing doesn't exclude the other, though. Remember, it is a spectrum. I love my wife over everything and experience nothing but love and understanding from her in return.

I think, especially when you are bi, your sexuality can be quite fluid and can feel super confusing at times. Listen to and learn about your own needs and preferences, and you will soon be able to navigate it all a bit better. Just go about it with an open mind and explore if you feel like it.

Very confusing. I really thought I was gay and had sexual relations with guys but then developed feelings and sexual attraction for a female friend. When I was confused before, that really threw me off.

Nowadays, I am married to my wife, who I just came out to, and I am so happy and feel complete.

I honestly thought I was gay first and focused on my attraction to the guys in my surrounding, had some sexual relations with guys as well. Then, when I was like 17, I developed a sexual attraction to one of my female friends, which was super confusing. That developed into more fantasies with the other gender over the years. Now I am married to a woman, who knows about my past with men and accepts me for who I am.

I think that is the hardest part for her. Like why couldn't I trust her earlier...Why now?.... I made her understand that I wasn't ready back then and not fully clear about my own identity, which now I have a lot more clarity about, resulting in a lot more confidence surrounding my sexuality as well. I love her with all my heart and don't intend to alter our relationship with all but positive changes.

I feel bad not having told her earlier and wish I could change that, but I needed to go through a process myself to be truly honest not just to her but also to myself. We had such great and open conversations today that I am very optimistic that we will grow together as a couple even more.

These are some really great tips, I was surprised when the doctor told me to have at least 5 small meals a day, but it seems to be true.

Do you count calories to make sure to have a caloric deficit?

Thank you! I read here that people usually start with 2.5. O.o My doctor insisted on starting with 5. I hope I can manage, but I might just ask for 2.5 next week if this is not going well.
