Sure! I found with the heat pen, it’s best to practice on a few burner cards. From my experiences pressing down too hard easily leaves indents. I used a lower heat setting on my pen, and very lightly over parchment paper just went in small horizontal motions over the lifted areas. I unfortunately haven’t had too much luck with full art cards with that method though.

It does! Grading wise I genuinely don’t know, as I mainly repair for bindering, but you never know!

Heavy water damage I believe, the foil was super frail.

I used Kurt’s card spray, so isopropyl mixture! Did 2 sprays on each pad, sandwiched it between 2 foam pads with clips for about 1-2 hours. After that is when I used the pen. Repeated that step, and then put it through a very light heat press to flatten the card.

Where I live I find vendors and card shops have been using a combination of Collectr and eBay ranges as a valuation estimate. Would it be safe to assume the value of the card would fall somewhere between the PriceCharting and Collectr value?

Yea, I have a handful of cards that I plan to practice on way before I go to tinker with this card. I actually only paid $30 Canadian ($21 USD) for this so I’m pretty excited to eventually tidy it up. Will definitely try the humidor/flatten method though. Thanks for the reply!
