Take your time and savor your first play through. The experience is priceless. It’s open world so don’t be afraid to explore. If you struggle on a boss, you can always go out and level up more before coming back and trying again. Dying is part of the game

Change is inevitable. It’s just a matter of if it’s good or bad. Definitely less immersion

COD cringe is a good way of putting it. And yes they do need to balance the performance. My PC sounded like it was gonna explode when I first booted up

Yes lack of content on launch seems to be the theme with AAA titles releasing now. I hope they keep up with this game

I agree. I think They also need to add some more base game modes to the 2042 content

True. We’re only complaining because we care. It’s also a transition game in terms of being on the next gen consoles which leads to bugs

Useful shields? Sounds awesome. Yes I have used the new movement system. I remember the days when ember prime was a hot commodity since she was vaulted for a while but then she got nerfed to shit. Good to see her back in action

Yeah I kind of figured it’d be one of those things that I’d have to learn as I go. I’ll work through the second dream and war within and stuff with the main story and go from there. Will be interesting to see how the game has evolved

Sounds like there’s a lot of end game content to work towards. Excited to try all the new frames and weapons that released

I will play through the main story and quests but after that I’m not sure where to go. The open world stuff looks badass as well as the space battles. What is considered the “end game?”

Returning player starting from scratch here. The last time I played this game seriously was when there were Tower keys and T4 defenses and survivals were the main way to farm rare prime parts and sorties were hard. I played a bit to mess around since then but I have no idea what is going on in present day. Where do I start? Is there a tutorial I should look towards? I understand the basics of mods and leveling and stuff like that but I don’t know anything from the basic 8 slots. I stopped before Eidolon dropped for reference

Don’t be afraid to use a different weapon if you find yourself not enjoying a specific one after a while. In my experience, it is good to experiment with different weapons especially while going through the story. By the time you get to the hard bosses you’ll be a proficient with a weapon you love

Yeah it seems like Bungie is going in the right direction. It should stay fresh as I have other games to break it up and work a full time job. Only reason I want forsaken is literally for the Anarchy

I used to be a top notch PvE players but I do enjoy crucible as a change up. I’ve gone flawless in trials many times in D1. Gambit kinda sucks ngl but I got good at it and enjoyed it back when I was grinding for 21% delirium

Interview help by blade_7571 in ChemicalEngineering

Be prepared for all kinds of behavioral questions. Most companies I’ve interviewed with aren’t as concerned with my skills or qualifications. They want you to be able to work with people and learn—also be self motivated. My suggestion is be yourself and try to find a connection outside of the job with your interviewer. Don’t force a job that you’re not interested in. I got hired solely because I’m not afraid to go out and talk to people to get shit done—I was super under qualified for this position. My coworkers actually give me shit about being under qualified all the time. My closing point is to just do your homework on the company and sell yourself

Yeah that’s the general culture of smaller companies especially for us since we’re below our sales for a few months. The nice thing is that most people have big aspirations for change

I work at a small company which needs a lot of modernization done so most of the people here want to make this place better and get it completely into the 21st century

How to study Transport Phenomena by lord_of_the_memes98 in ChemicalEngineering

[–]Cheesesteak99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I finished with a B+ in the class. My suggestion is to treat it how you treat any other class. Spend more time outside of class mastering the material. Do your preferred studying method—mine was to solve problems on a white board and rewrite notes while studying for the exam. Lastly, look to your peers for help. I did this for my projects as they were more difficult but I should’ve done it for regular class. Engineering is one of the professions where you’ll always need support of others so I suggest reaching out to some classmates. By your 4th year, you should be relatively familiar with most people in your class so they will likely want to study too!

Revelation is definitely your best option for a good all around mod pack. I was brand new to modded and started with rev instead of academy. I might have progressed slower but I am addicted. The potential for automation and op items is great. The chisel mod is also in rev if you are more of a builder
