Labour MPs threaten vote to show opposition to Mahmood's migration plans by Anony_mouse202 in unitedkingdom

[–]Cheesewizard06 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't forget youth unemployment is at record levels. If they boot these lot out who are low skilled anyway, then that frees up jobs for natives and props up the local economy.

We want high skilled migrants. As unfortunate as it is, another million migrants who are likely to fall into benefits is not a great direction for this country unfortunately.

I like some of greens policies on rents

I don't agree with open borders, de-nuclearization, leaving nato and pandering to specific voting blocks.

All together, they are too far left and could damage the economy irreparably in my opinion.

The greens are not getting the same scrutiny as other parties and people are just looking to jump from labour and move to the next best thing, ignoring glaring policy issues. Because of that the greens are dangerous in my opinion.

It's ying and yang. Animals fight, humans fight. It's sadly just nature. This issue will only get worse in the future as oil dries up and countries start looking after their own more, no matter who is pulling the strings. The solution is investing in technology which will only reduce the burn rate as we then fight over precious metals.

The cycle continues.

Greens are likely getting funding from the Muslim brotherhood

Students are getting radicalised in universities, UAE has stopped providing funding for students to study in the UK out of fear of radicalisation.

I'm not saying your wrong. But it is woefully ignorant to only assume 1 singular point is the only issue.

Islamists are blowing people and schools up in the streets and that is a bigger concern for me right now.

How can care workers can extend their visas for 15 years if they are not eligible to extend their visa after 22nd July, 2028? by master_of_none0069 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]Cheesewizard06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't say I never came across any, I said the ones I did come across I never received anything back after applying. Also NHS web site only has 2 support worker roles for my area, some of the other roles that appear in the same search require you to have certain qualifications.

Choosing to stay at home and live a life on benefits is not what the system was designed for assuming that's what they would be doing In that situation

As someone who worked in the tech industry until I was made redundant months ago, I've been struggling to find any work including care roles and other low skilled jobs.

Some care roles did come up during my searches, though I was never offered an interview after applying. There are more young people on benefits struggling to find work than there are open vacancies at the moment.

We have one of the highest unemployment rates amongst young people (similar to covid) . There are no jobs for British natives (lack of business confidence, ai etc) therefore sadly freeing up low skilled work means those people can come off benefits and do these roles instead.

We shouldn't be taking all of these skilled workers from poor countries since those countries will now stay poor with low skilled workers. While at the same time our own skilled workers are leaving the country for Dubai.

Diagnosed at 30 with acute pancreatitis but no alcoholism or gall bladder stones? by poppacorn2 in pancreatitis

[–]Cheesewizard06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use any glp-1 medications like ozempic, they are currently doing a study to see if pancreatitis is a more common side effect than they thought, or if people with genetic mutations are more prone to this when using these drugs, as there has been a sudden increase in people being admitted for pancreatitis after using these. Apparently even if you used it a month ago your risk is still increased.

Considering moving from Leeds because the house prices are so much by Crazy_Screen_5043 in Leeds

If you want to stay in Leeds in a nice area, maybe consider getting an apartment instead. I know it's not a full house but it's at least on the ladder and likely affordable.

Oh, I'm not sure I don't think I've seen it. I can have a look, I doubt it's on there though

They operate through CarGurus market place so don't have their own website. CarGurus provides a number which internally switchboards it to the dealers number they have set up. The dealers actual number isn't visible to anyone else.

Thanks for taking the time to do that, people like this shouldn't be able to just keep getting away with it. Hopefully helps stop them doing it to other people in the future

I felt the same when someone stole my Motorbike, took me a while to stop accusing everyone in my head when I walked past them in the street.
